Faith No More?

oh, wait, I'll actually see them on April 14th.

How about seeing Jay Lane back in Primus? (nudge, nudge, wink, wink)

Jay in Primus is like getting Rutsey over Peart in Rush or Best over Ringo....

Tim is "the" classic Primus drummer...

that being said I would like to see Black Flag with both Rollins and Ginn...

along the lines of Jay with Primus..

Maiden with Dianno
PJ with Abbruzzi(sp?)
and one more final Black Sabbath with all 4 Original members tour would be sweet...

I totally agree with Tim, the Ginseng drummer, although I think Brain is the most talented of the 3. It's all family. That said, look for the Jay return in the upcoming near future - perhaps after that 3 Day Furhtur Festival over Memorial Day weekend at Mt. Aire (what? Yep -http://www.furthur.net/) Don't know whether it will be Ler or Todd on guitar (Primus/Sausage) - but then again, most of the masses have yet to discover MIRV.

Well, we agree! But, my fantasy has to be modified: I want to hear them play in their prime, and I want meet and have dinner with ALL the bass (!) players of each of my fantasy bands, after the show:

1 THeads
2 CREAM
3 DEAD at Florida, 12-29-68

Yep; thought that GBak held up least well, but hey--still pretty good for geezers! Defn prefer the 68 farewell docu flick though for youthful energy.

Speaking of Knopfler, here is a link for a few recent shows.

I am just listening to Cologne on 9/29, it sounds like a small bar with a stripped down sound and it is perfect.
